Peace Community Center Hilltop Scholars Program

We at the Hilltop Scholars Program are excited about your desire to join our program.  Hilltop Scholars is a program that first and foremost prides itself on its belief that you are talented and capable of success. You will work with a core group of dedicated staff that works to ensure that you get the support to succeed in school. 

 

As a Hilltop Scholar you will have access to different types of support during the school year. You will have access to daily after school support from tutors who will help you better understand your classes. You will have access to weekly support from an academic coach who will help you set goals and master strategies that will help you get the most of your school work. Finally you will also have the option to attend monthly fun and learning based field trips!

 

During the summer Hilltop Scholars has a summer academic opportunity that will help you sharpen your Math and English skills. When other students are falling behind during the summer, you will be sailing ahead and launch into the fall semester ahead of the game, confident in your ability to succeed. During this summer academic camp you will also get the chance to visit college campuses and will talk to real admission counselors. Finally at this summer camp you will also get a chance to build a strong community with your fellow students which will make your first day of the new school year less intimidating!
